Automatic Term Sheet Generator

The crazy folks at uber-Valley law firm Wilson Sonsini have just published an automatic term sheet generator. I gave it a shot. It’s very comprehensive. If you’re familiar with these deals, you can go through it quickly. If not, it provides step by step tutorials. It also provides some very useful market data.

Give it a shot. It won’t replace a lawyer, but will demistify the term sheet for you and help you understand common terms. You can also use simplified versions of this for angel or seed rounds and keep your deal costs low.
