Looking for a Chief of Staff

We are looking to hire a Chief of Staff at Real Ventures.

As the title suggests, we are looking for an autonomous individual who can be both internally and externally focused and be involved in many aspects of our business.

You will ensure that our business operates like a well oiled machine. This will mean taking responsibility for operational items such as, schedules, travel and office logistics. You will also play an important role supporting our investor and portfolio communications initiatives. This may include helping with production of quarterly reports, liaising with our portfolio of investee companies, producing events, website content and general PR activities. management , etc. In addition, you will drive our marketing strategy including events, website, PR, etc.

This is not a partner track position although we are looking for someone who can grow with the firm.

Ideal Person:

Self starter, ability to work independently

Excellent communication, written & listening skills in both English and French

Creative

An active user of web and mobile applications

Experience organizing events

Experience producing marketing materials (website, press releases, brochures)

Experience managing complicated schedules

Knowledge of WordPress would be an asset

Strong knowledge of excel, word and powerpoint or equivalents

Based in Montreal or willing to move here

Ideal previous experience (~2 – 4 Years) could include: startup, internet/technology company, etc.
