Hi, I’m Mark MacLeod.  I am a partner at Real Ventures, a Montreal-based seed VC fund where I focus on SaaS, freemium, e-commerce and digital media seed investments.

Before entering the Venture World in 2010, I spent the previous 11 years leading finance, operations, alliances, etc for a number of venture-backed startups. I continue to advise some great startups, mostly in the SaaS space.

I’m a proud Canadian and Scotsman (moved to Canada when I was a wee laddie).  I love my family, entrepreneurs, yoga, healthy living, DJing, house music, Formula 1, the occasional Manhattan or single malt whisky and reading – more or less in that order.
