Hi, I’m Mark MacLeod. I lead business and corporate development for FreshBooks -The #1 cloud accounting specialist for small business owners. I am also a Venture Partner at Real Ventures, Canada’a largest and most active seed stage VC fund.
Before entering the Venture World in 2010, I spent the previous 11 years leading finance, operations, alliances, etc for a number of venture-backed startups. I’m now back on the operating side where I belong.
I’m a proud Canadian and Scotsman (moved to Canada when I was a wee laddie). I love my family, entrepreneurs, yoga, healthy living, DJing, house music, Formula 1 and reading – more or less in that order.
